Only 29% of Medicare-certified nursing homes in Tennessee achieve Joint Commission accreditation, making this one of the most rigorous and respected recognitions in healthcare.
Joint Commission surveyors spend extensive time evaluating real-world, day-to-day clinical practice to ensure care is consistent, coordinated, and patient-centered across all disciplines. This includes how care plans are implemented at the bedside, safe medication administration practices, active infection prevention and control programs, emergency preparedness readiness, and leadership’s use of quality data to continuously drive improvement.
